Fans of mecha action can look forward to War Robots: Frontiers bringing intense robot battles to consoles. From November 20 to December 4, 2024, players in the playtest will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a world of tactical combat. Developed by MY.GAMES, the game takes participants to the planet of the Wild Ten, where three megacorporations are vying for supremacy. In teams of six players, they take control of powerful combat robots to prevail in an ever-changing battlefield.
Five mechs with individual customization options are available in the test phase. Whether heavily armored defenders, tactical supporters or aggressive attackers – the range of play styles offers the right option for every taste. With a variety of weapons and modules, an almost endless range of strategic possibilities opens up. Players can thus design their own mech that is optimally suited to the challenges of the dynamic conflict.
Variety in game modes and locations: Action meets strategy
The playtest offers three diverse maps that provide plenty of variety. Catalyst presents a blazing hot refinery, Fissure shows the gloomy industrial zone, and Spectrum introduces a dense urban environment. These locations not only provide visual highlights, but also require different approaches to combat.
