The survival sandbox Astroneer, in which you explore strange worlds and build your bases, went into early access back in 2016. The game has long been revered by a loyal community, on Steam it has a “Very Positive” rating, with 92 percent favorable comments, from over 100,000 satisfied players. The number of players has also remained constant at over 2,000 active users – and has done so for a full eight years.

It’s all the more surprising that there hasn’t been a truly extensive expansion for it yet, only smaller DLCs. That changed on November 13 with Glitchwalkers. The expansion introduces a new planet controlled by a renegade Astroneer. In addition, glitch storms are said to occur here, which hopefully is not a nice word for a bugged game. If that’s not enough for you, there’s also some new content like new tech trees and modules.

Glitchwalkesr costs 10 euros.
