Patch 2.02 for the role-playing game is freshly released and brings masses of bug fixes and other improvements. We have the patch notes for you.

Cyberpunk 2077 has received another patch: Update 2.02 improves both the addon Phantom Liberty and the base game.

How big is the download? Patch 2.02 is around 15 GB on PC, on PS5 you have to download 5.4 GB.

This changes patch 2.02

The update mainly contains many bug fixes for problems with quests, animations, lighting and so on. In addition, the game should now run more stable. So if you had problems so far, it’s worth to start again!

Weapon balance: The developers have made some changes to some weapons after player feedback. For example, Johnny’s iconic pistol – the Malorian Arms 3516 – is now more powerful and has less recoil.

Passive Skills: After patch 2.01, there were issues with the passive skills. Now they are working as intended again.

Mods on PC: Your game will now send you an error message when outdated scripts (for example, old mods) are detected instead of just crashing.

Fewer stuck: The patch fixes a few collision issues that could cause V to get stuck somewhere.

Phantom Liberty has garnered plenty of dream scores, and the 2.0 update for Cyberpunk 2077 has also been well received by the majority of fans and critics. Developer CD Projekt celebrates this in a video, which you can watch above.
