You want to farm legendary loot in Starfield fast? This trick will make it quicker and easier

You want to quickly find the best weapons and armour in Starfield but don’t want to make a big effort? No problem! With a really simple trick, you can quickly collect an infinite number of Legendarys. We’ll tell you how it works.

Quickly farm legendary gear in Starfield – here’s how!

The principle behind the trick is quickly explained: In Starfield, enemies and crates drop better loot on higher difficulty levels, the chances of getting epic and legendary equipment are much higher here.

Naturally, this also makes the game more difficult – but this hurdle can be circumvented. We tell you how it works:

  • Find a place where many enemies are waiting for you. As an example, let’s take the Nova Galactic Star Yard in the orbit of the moon in the Sol system.

  • Before you enter the space station, you should now turn up the difficulty level to the maximum in the settings and save the game.
  • Dock at the station and get out of your spaceship.
  • Now comes the trick: Because enemy loot is set when you enter the new level, your enemies will have the high-value loot of the hardest difficulty level in their pockets. Turning the difficulty down to minimum now won’t change that – but enemies will drop faster, making it easier and faster to find the right gear.

If you don’t like the loot you get, you can simply load the previously saved game state and start a new attempt. And if you do find something you want to keep, you can repeat the trick at any other abandoned space station or outpost.

The only important thing is that there is an area change with a loading screen before which you can turn up the difficulty and turn it down again after entering. Alternatively, you can let the ingame time pass by sitting on a chair or lying in a bed. After 30 in-game days at the latest, all enemies will be back.
