Massive Monster and Devolver Digital have announced the first major DLC for Cult of the Lamb. This is called Relics of the Old Faith and is scheduled to be released next week.

Praise the Lamb! In the next week you will be able to slip into the robe of the demonic sheep and expand your cult. Relics of the Old Faith takes place after the events of Cult of the Lamb and offers numerous new features, including a completely new storyline.

In this one, a mysterious being equips the Lamb with special relics. These provide you with new effects and unlock new combat mechanics. Thus, you’ll be able to set out on new crusades and uncover the secret of the mysterious three ducks.

Relics of the Old Faith expands your combat system with heavy attacks so you can go into battle against new enemies.

Away from the battlefield, various innovations also beckon. For example shelters with up to three sleeping places can solve space shortage problems. Those who are hungry can prepare over 30 dishes in the kitchen for the community. If your faithful pass away in one way or another, you can lay out their bodies in the crypt

In addition, the new signs contribute to the general organization of your cult. If these are attached to signs, only certain plants can grow here.

Last but not least, Relics of the Old Faith brings with it new cult members. Now badgers, penguins and raccoons, among others, can be recruited.

On April24 the free new expansion of Cult of the Lamb will be released.
