The official Twitter account of Call of Duty has accidentally leaked new gameplay scenes and PC features. The video for MW2 is now spreading around the web.

Actually, only the story trailer for CoD Modern Warfare 2 should have been launched yesterday!, which shows new impressions from the campaign and comes up with a lot of Sicario mood – this time it”s against Mexican drug owners (and terrorists). You can find the new scenes below.

But apparently someone at Activision pressed the wrong button and published another trailer on Twitter at the same time: The official PC trailer actually shows scenes not yet intended for the public and exclusive options and graphics features for PC players.

Although the manufacturer apparently noticed the mistake quickly and took the video offline, the internet was faster, as is often the case: many users saved the video and are now spreading it on social networks. Here you can see the leaked material:

What to see?

The footage shows PC gameplay with a focus on technical features, but also gives new insights into the campaign. Specifically, the following stands out:

  • There is apparently a sniper mission in which we crawl through the undergrowth fully camouflaged, which is reminiscent of the legendary MW mission All Ghillied Up from CoD 4.
  • Support for 4K and Ultrawide monitors will be guaranteed from release, there should also be over 500 setting options in the menu for PC users.
  • Missions in darkness will occur again, in which we can rely on night vision devices and equip weapons with infrared lasers.

Do you like the new scenes from the new CoD? Are you most looking forward to the story, the multiplayer or the co-op missions in SpecOps?
