Bethesda and Arkane Austin present us with a new trailer for Redfall, welcoming us to the vampire-infested city. Experience hard-hitting gameplay, once-beautiful neighbourhoods and eerie vampire creatures.

Redfall was once an idyllic island off the coast of Massachusetts. But now the vampires are in charge. Not only has the sun gone dark and the town been cut off from the rest of the world. Most of the island’s inhabitants also fall into three categories: Vampires, cultists who wish they were vampires and the dead. But luckily there are still the protagonists of our shooter: Jacob Boyer, Remi de la Rosa, Devinder Crousley and Layla Ellison. Each of them has a unique story and skillset that will be more than useful in this fight.

As the game progresses, you can adapt the protagonists’ abilities to your play style and level them up further. Whether you go it alone or advance against the vampires in 4-player co-op is up to you. The open world of Redfall lets you make your own decisions about where to go next. From the lake promenade, to the old lighthouse, to the church and the old town, various places can be explored that contain clues to the sudden appearance of the vampires. With this knowledge, you can stop the threat once and for all and finally take back Redfall.

Just like Starfield’s, Redfall’s release has been pushed back to next year. At least we already know that the supernatural shooter will be available for PC and Xbox consoles. From day one, the title will also be part of the Xbox Game Pass. Find out more about the gameplay here.
