Besides Chapter 3, several collabs are said to be coming to Fortnite in December. Spider-Man might even bring a new mechanic.

Three big collaborations in just one month? Fortnite leaker “InformerLeaks” shared hints of upcoming content in the Battle Royale title on Twitter in November. Among others, Spider-Man, Boba Fett and Neo and Trinity from Matrix are said to be coming to the game.

December is considered a month filled with many gifts and surprises. It is possible that developer Epic Games will also follow this custom: According to InformerLeaks, several collaborations will be implemented alongside the new chapter and a new map. Allegedly, crossover content will come with Spider-Man, Boba Fett from Star Wars and characters from Matrix.

New mechanics with Spider-Man?

The rumours have also been backed up by other leakers such as HYPEX or ShiinaBR, who have proven to be reliable sources in the past. As HYPEX wrote back in October, Spider-Man could also introduce an interesting new mechanic: The leaker found hints of an item with swinging functions, including code snippets for jumps, acceleration and other aspects of swinging.

However, it is still unknown when players will be able to swing across the map as Spider-Man. The new film in the franchise, “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, opens in German cinemas on 16 December, which is a possible clue.

Boba Fett already confirmed

The arrival of Boba Fett in Fortnite was officially confirmed back in November. From 24 December, the bounty hunter will be out and about in the Battle Royale. How exactly the skin can be obtained is not yet known. The release lines up with the premiere of the series “Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett,” which launches on DisneyPlus on December 29.
