Deep Rock Galactic announces Rival Incursion, the biggest update yet for the acclaimed co-op shooter on Steam. At the same time, the new season model will also be launched: in future, each update will have its own theme and a Battle Pass (called Performance Pass here).
Over 100 levels, you can unlock new skins, crafting material and much more (completely free of charge). There is no premium version for real money, all players have access to all unlocks!
Season 1 Rival Incursion also introduces a completely new enemy faction: A rival Space Corporation of advanced robots is trying to make life difficult for the miners of Deep Rock.
In the associated new mission type, it is therefore a matter of really heating up the high-tech competition. To accomplish this, there is also a new weapon for each class, including a skill tree and new overclock modules.
The PC release for Season 1 is on 4 November 2021 via Steam, the Xbox version will follow a little later on 18 November.
