If, after a few rounds of Pokémon Unite, you’re wondering why your opponent is dealing so much damage so early on, it may be due to the items. Because these are not only unlockable, but can also be strengthened with upgrades.
16 wearable items can be upgraded in Pokémon Unite. The upgrade function can be called up in the main menu under “Battle Prep”. There, by looking at the worn items, the upgrade function is available. The basic requirement, however, is to have reached trainer level 9. With the selection of the item, the “Upgrade” option also appears directly.
Pokémon with physical attacks get a clear attack boost with an improved muscle band and additionally some attack speed. As you can see in the picture, the attack of the Muscle Band at level 10 is already 5, which is significantly higher than the original value
